Hello again! It’s been a while since I have posted a blog, but I thought now was a good time to update you all on the progress of my journey. I am proud to announce that as of yesterday, I have hit the amazing number of 70 lbs lost!! I am so excited to be able to say this, it’s just so cool to be able to use that number and have it associated with MY weight loss!! In addition, I am down 6 pant sizes, and for those of you who know me, that has been a great excuse to shop. Like I ever NEEDED an excuse to shop! But now that mirror in the dressing room is not quite as hard to peer into. I’m starting to actually like the reflection that I am seeing.
So many of you have said that I am an inspiration, and I am honored and humbled that you feel that way. The reality for me is that all of you, my friends, family, my colleagues, my Mend-A-Body family and especially my own clients, are MY inspiration. I truly get my motivation and my energy from people and the support that I receive on a daily basis from so many. That is really what empowers me to continue on this journey.
I am thankful every single day for Debra-Ann, her vision, her amazing team, my own team members Miranda Ketchen and Lori-Ann Townshend, who are AMAZING coaches by the way, and to all of my fellow coaches who have become such great friends! My only regret is that Deb didn’t have this vision years ago!
It has been almost 10 months since I joined Mend-A-Body, which is probably 9 months longer than I have stayed on any other program. During that 10 months, I have found my self-confidence again, I feel significantly better than I have in a very long time, and really feel that I am in a much better place overall. I have also gone from a Wellness Coach to a Senior Wellness Coach!! It amazes me to think that I am a coach,of ANYTHING, let alone a weight loss and wellness program! Go figure, huh? In addition, I continue to participate at the Wednesday evening Health Nut Live Event in Lewiston, and have assisted in the start-up, and am the event Host at our newest location of the HNL Event in Manchester, Maine on Monday evenings. Oh so many exciting things happening through Mend-A-Body, and I’m so proud to be a part of it all!
I continue on my weight loss journey, still having a way to go, but I am motivated and passionate, and I have no doubt that I will reach my ultimate goal. I have many personal and professional goals that I plan on meeting over the next year. I’m looking forward to reaching those goals with continued personal hard work and with the limitless support of all of you!
Thank you all for your continued support. I’m sure I’ll be blogging with you all again very soon…as soon as I hit my 100 pound mark! Stay tuned!!
